PRESS RELEASE
JEROME RINGLER OF Ringler Law Corporation, APPOINTED BY FEDERAL COURT TO PARTICIPATE AS A MEMBER OF THE LEAD COUNSEL COMMITTEE TO LEAD CLASS ACTION AGAINST TOYOTA.
The United States District Court Judge overseeing hundreds of lawsuits filed nationwide against Toyota Motor Sales USA, Inc. and related entities, stemming from the sudden unintended acceleration in certain Toyota models and from Toyota's recall of those models, has appointed Jerome Ringler of Ringler Law Corporation as one of only 14 attorneys responsible for handling the litigation nationwide on behalf of all plaintiffs similarly situated.
"We are very pleased that the court appointed us to this prestigious and important position, given that over 70 attorneys, all highly credentialed and experienced in product liability law and class action litigation, also sought appointment to this committee," said Mr. Jerome Ringler.
Mr. Jerome Ringler was appointed to the "Plaintiffs' Lead Counsel Committee for Economic Loss Class Actions," on behalf of non-consumer owners of any of the recalled Toyota vehicles. Jerome Ringler filed a nationwide class action on behalf of rental car companies, whose collective damages stemming from the Toyota recall are estimated to exceed $200,000,000.
Along with the other handful of attorneys picked by the court, Mr. Jerome Ringler will have responsibility for gathering evidence establishing Toyota's liability, managing discovery and gathering evidence necessary to prove the nature and extent of damages suffered by the class.
